Laura's Story
Life
I joined the Air Force after high school. They sent me to Omaha, Ne. Wouldn't you know they would send me somewhere cold. I was there 4 1/2 years all in Omaha except a tour to Saudi Arabia for 65 days. I met my husband in the military. We got out and moved to his home state of Iowa. Yes, that's right I am still freezing. We joined the Air National Guard and both work full time for the guard. We have 2 beautiful chil...Expand for more
dren. Our oldest Dylan is 5 and our youngest Haley is 3. We just built a new home and life seems to be pretty good. I actually got my mom to move up here from Texas. So at least I have a little family here.
Military
I have been in the Air Force or a branch of the Air Force for about 12 years. So far I have been to Saudi Arabia, Hawaii, Florida, and am heading to Germany in June. I am a Master Sergent which is an E-7.
