Hi Everyone!
Here I am in beautiful and HOT Bakersfield, CA!! Yep....after 24 yrs with GTE/Verizon.....I have hung it up and retired! We TRIED to move back to Pismo Beach where we lived from '85 to '91, then GTE transfered me to WA State, however the housing prices on the coast now is too crazy...so the closest we could manage to afford was......yep...BAKERSFIELD...it's about an hour and a half to Pismo from here! Makes for a nice Day Trip!! :)
Things are good.....Bob and I are both healthy and we have two wonderful Grandkids.....Jam...Expand for more
es 15 and Lori 12, they live in Washington State, we see them often....but not often enough, so we may be moving there next year!! Being retired is sort of fun....not financially...but the freedom is GREAT! :)
Bob is loving his freedom to Golf......I love to putter in the yard and tend to my many, many roses! I love cooking and baking.....and teaching my new puppy Mugszi (a Shih-Tzu/Peke mix), how to become a grown up!!
