In school I never really got to be the person I held inside. My parents were very strict and there was no such thing as saying NO ! Italian families have their own set of rules and the way they choose to do things.. I sometimes found myself making excuses for not being able to go somewhere when in reality they were cover-ups for just plain old " Not being allowed to go anywhere" God I hated that.
