Laura's Story
So....I thought I would update my profile being that it has been like 6 years since I did the first one!!! My how time flies!!! You gotta love Social Media. Being able to connect to friends from long ago just makes my heart sing!!! I just so wish there was some way we could all get together at the same time!!! I hated missing the reunion this year and I heard that Billy Blasingame and Greg Futch and Eric Stallings and all the others were great and everyone had a FAB time!!! I don't want to miss the next one...whenever that is!!! I have now been married for 37 years to Steve and we have 4 glorious grandchildren!!! 3 boys and 1 girl...all perfect...just ask me I'll tell ya!!!I have 4 children 2 that I actually gave birth to and 2 that Steve and I adopted in 2006. They could not be anymore my children than if I had had them!!! John and Steven are the most wonderful blessing in our lives and we would not change a thing!!! he most outstanding young men you have ever had the pleasure of meeting. John is Autistic and he is now 23 and a Senior at Ga. State University. Today, as a matter of fact he took his GRE to apply to Grad school at Ga Tech. Steven is our musician and is so very talented. He attends Berklle College of Music in Boston and he is in his freshman year!!! My two older children T.---my son is 36 and Alden my daughter is 33. I have a fantastic life and have been blessed beyond any expectations. I still have a Zest for life, I laugh all the time...I love to socialize...I love to cook and read and swim and ski and I live on the Lake...have about 2 more years until retirement and I can not wait to travel the world!!!! I always remember my days in high school fondly and I am so glad to be able to connect with so many of you through FB and of course this site. I don't check here often but I'm thinking I need to start!!! I wish nothing but love and happiness to all and hope to see you soon!!!
