Laura's Story

Well I really don't have much to say about myself but I alway have been same person with good heart, quiet, and little shy, before at SMHS, I was very very shy and very tall. I never had any boyfriend during H.S. I went to prom in 1977 with my sister (I had to ask her to come with me). I was very scare to go alone because I was afraid if any kids will mocking or teasing me. I had the most beautiful dress, nice tan, and nice hair. My family said I was the most beautiful girl and very mature, and look older. No boys ask me to dance at prom. I was not disappointed, not cry and I knew it would be a problem. After I graduate H.S., I met a wonderful and handsome man (my dream came true). He was 31 years old and I was 19 years old! He came from California and so I followed my dream to with him where he was born in California. Then following two months I had a best job I ever had is Pacific Gas and Electric Company (very stable job, great benefit life insurance and stockholder, dental and vision). I was very lucky to have a job for 15 years then the illness came......with migraine headache. I had to quit and living home alone with one son 18 years old. I do crafts allot. I love painting rocks, drawing (I learned allot from H.S.), puzzle, reading, and pictures (reprint/cut out, trim, paste) on the book. I love swimming since teenager in Arizona at my home. I keep in shape. I stay in good heart and be happy. Right now I am retired and I haven't date men for 12 years. I hope you remember me being tall, shy and very awkward in classroom, never look at kids and fear get mocking or teasing by kids. I am hearing impaired and lip-read good. So during 1976-1977 in H.S. was not good childhood I have but I am not self pity. I was doing my own business to keep busy at home like reading, swimming and cleaning. I do not remember anybody but I am sure some of you kids will remember me at High School. Drop in and say hi, don't worry I am sweet person. Thank you for your time to read my story. I hope to hear from you soon :) :) I always wanted to be a model when I grew up. My sisters and friends thought it was a good idea. My parents was not supportive with me on my needs as career. So I never got model. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a car, but first study driver ED, and be happy and independent to be able to deal with the day-to-day. Again never had a car for 12 years. Anyone help me? I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and moved to Arizona ...Expand for more
because my father's laid off from Union and get a better job and a house with swimming pool. It is a great to start especially pool. Then I moved to California with my ex boyfriend because I like to learn different in state, especially with new boyfriend. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Mr. Pickering and Mr. Doug Shaffer, because both had taugh me many things with good words and to be a better person.. Swimming pool is part of my life. It give me a great shape, mentally and phsically as well...it gives you a sharp mind and a good atttiude. Plus good body with more confident! Life doesn't always turn out the way I expect, but my biggest surprise when I met my ex boyfriend who make me feel good inside and outside. He give me a lot of confident for who I am because of my hearing impaired. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel kitchen and add on any recycle materials. My dream home would be an average special and plus a swimming pool. I don't have much to say about my parents because both are alocholic. One my mother died in 1981 due to cancer and my father is alive in San Diego, CA. If I won $100 millions dollar or more, whatever. I will give half million to my ex boyfriend, actually he is my best friend for 30 years because he was a only man who helped me everything through thick and thin, down and up, rough and soft, since when I was 20 yeras old. The rest I would buy a car, a house and love to travel. To be truly happy, I would be where I am, doing my crafts, go swimming pool and hang out with my best friend June from Wisconsin and my very good friend Alex (my ex boyfriend) and plus my son. I do not have any man in my life right now. I was far too mature for my age at High School, plus I was too tall. That's why I do not have experience "boyfriend". My best friend would tell me I am funny, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as weird or too quite person. I had the weirdest job I ever had was making sandwiches maker! I share my apartment with my son, which I find last generation strange lifestyle. My son with new names when visit his freinds, his pant half down (little), shake hands with style. Got it? My oldest friend is June Osowski from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We write to each other by letters, than later on, new computer email, then new IM or Chat, we chat all the time for 35 years! My advise is never get angry and stay happy. Wish me a luck for lottery so I can buy a car! Smile.
