Laura's Story
After my freshman year at Rich Central my family moved to the Washington, D.C. area. I loved it there, so after college (Biology degree) I stayed in the area. My dream since I was twelve was to work in a crime lab. This dream came true when I was hired by the FBI. I worked in their Lab at FBI Headquarters for almost six years before moving out to Albuquerque in 1989. I have been working in the Albuquerque Police Department Crime Lab (with DNA) for almost twenty years now, and can retire in just five short years (2014). n general) is so beautiful and a wonderful place to live. I have no plans to leave.
My sister Beth now lives in Waukesha, WI, and we see each other at least a couple of times a year. She has been happily married since 1980 and has a daughter and a son, both engineers.
Unfortunately, I lost both of my parents years ago to a brain aneurysm/stroke (Mom at 63) and Alzheimer's (Dad at 84). Those were not good times, but God brought me through.
I'm looking forward to reconnecting with friends from both Illinois and Virginia. Please drop me a line. :)
