Laura's Story
Life
I am married to a great guy since 1994. We are living in Brownsville. My kids are all grown and I now have 3 beautiful granddaughters. They keep me busy when I'm not at work. I love being a Granny!
I am still in the Army for another 2 years and then retirement. I have done more than I ever thought I could do and am a better and different person for it. It all sounds good but it has been a struggle. I've been deployed twice and almost lost my family because of it, ...Expand for more
fortunately I have a wonderful man to stand by me and he never lets me take myself too seriously. I recently was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and I work in Headquarters as an Administrative Officer. I have a great crew who make going to work a pleasure.
My husband Wes works for Franz Bakery and plans to retire in two years. His greatest love (besides me) is his cars. He likes restoring classic cars (mostly Chevys). We have a lot of fun going to swap meets and cruises.
