Laura's Story
Life
Well, I'm continuing to move around the country on a regular basis. After graduating with a B.S. in wildlife from UC Davis, I worked at Zion National Park as a seasonal biologist for a couple years. I decided to go back to school for a master's in wildlife at Auburn University in Alabama (yes, the deep south)...and to top it all off, I worked with feral pigs (yes, pigs). ay to reduce this invasive population. My advisor happened to get a job mid-way through my degree and so I moved with him and the rest of my labmates to Missoula, Montana...where I am presently living.
I enjoy seeing new places and meeting new people, but I wouldn't mind to be settled somewhere for at least 2 years sometime soon. I should be finishing my master's spring or summer 2006...and then trying to get a wildlife biologist position anywhere west of the Rockies.
