Laura's Story
Life
My Spouse
Met in Texarkana, Texas on August 27, 1977. We were in the wedding of some friends. We walked down the aisle that night and then again on May 27, 1978 in our wedding. Johnny is a captain with the Dallas Fire Department and trains cutting horses on his days off, along with playing golf..........he's very busy.
My Pets
Three Border collies, working dogs. After sixteen years our mini-dachshund, Lacy, went to doggie heaven and I swore I wouldn't do it...but, I couldn't help myself. Our newest addition to our family is Gracie, she's a chi-weenie. During my dad's chemo I am keeping his dog, Chiquita, the largest obese rat terrier know to man. We have 3 outside cats. We raise quarter horses, train cutting horses, so the cattle are for training the horses, and have too many of both. I once heard that "owning a horse is a sign of poverty".....'tis true.
