Laura's Story
Aloha. I graduated Class of '70 - A Long Time Coming was our song. I hooked up with Ty Pila in the summer of '69 (another song!). After graduation, we stayed together and got married in '72. We just celebrated our 38th anniversary in April! We lived in the Bay Area until '80, when we decided to start a family and so moved to Ty's home state of Hawaii. We had a daughter in '82 and a son in '83. We lived on the Big Island of Hawaii (same as Ty's cousin and also a classmate, Debbie Wise). Now we are back in California. Miss Hawaii soo much but the economy over there is tough. I'm staying with my mom in Sacramento and work for a property management company. Ty is staying with my sister, Kathy, on our old street (different house-better view) on Beachview Avenue in Pacifica, cause he has a job there.
