Laura's Story
I went to St.Matthews Roman Catholic Church elementry school on Utica Avenue in Brooklyn and moved when I was 13 to Elmont where I attended Alva T. Stanford Jr.High in Elmont. I Then went to Sewanhaka High School where I was Co-Captain of the pep Squad and spent most of my time in the Art Dept. After high school I went to the Fashion Institute of Design, but dropped out after a semester for many reasons. ntil July 3, 2008 at which time I packed up my toys and moved to Aiken South Carolina July 4th, 2008 where my Parents and sisters have been living any where from 20 to 30 years depending on who you talk to. I have been unemployed since and trying to find a job. Since I have had no success at finding a job I have inrolled in Aiken Technical College where I will be studing Administrative Office Technologies for a BA degree. I miss New York so much! I never planned on moving but if I wanted to live and not just survive I had to move out...Hence the reason I'm in South Carolina...
