Laura's Story
Hi all, I was Sr. Class President of the 1963 Graduating Class at Mercy Academy. Do you remember me?
I am retired now and live in Willis, Texas. I love being retired, after having spent over 30 years in Customer Service with the Bell's and Cingular Wireless.
This is an older picture of me and my youngest child, Jay, who is now 38. Don't have to tell you how old I am do I?
I have 2 older daughters, and a total of 6 Grandchildren. They range from 4 to 24...5 boys, 1 girl. Please drop me a line, thanks, and best to all,
Laura
I read, or garden, or take a walk to the Lake.
If I won $100 million, I'd give most of it to my 3 children, then spend the rest on 2 trips, Italy and Alaska.
My best friend would ...Expand for more
tell you I'm friendly, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as a snob.
No, I change according to my likes and dislikes. Nowadays, it's all about COMFORT. Definitely Casual.
I always wanted to be a lawyer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a silly thing for a girl idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
My current age is 64. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be pain in the butt. I was so completely right. :).
My first job was at Southwestern Bell Telephone & Telegraph Co. I was 17;, where I got paid $62.00 per week to give out information to phone customers. What I remember most about it is it seemed like the MOST money in all the world..
