Laura's Story
Life
I married at 19, and moved to Siskiyou County, California at 21. Since then its been very interesting. I lived without electricity, and at times running water for 13 years in a very remote community on the Salmon River. There I had 4 of our 5 children.(whom I homeschooled) Then I had one more in Etna, California(A beautiful community in the Scott Valley 30 miles from Yreka) (where we all live now). I never went to college, and surely regret that. I work with handicapped children and transport them as well. I love my job. Especially since I have the same vacations as my children. They are a special bunch. y life and the way I think and thought about everything) , my children(and whatever interests them, swim team, soccer, baseball, band, awanas, youth group, horses, etc. ), my family(sister steph,mom, brother scott and all there families. etc.), friends( I need to branch out, cuz I'm actually a little reclusive if left to my own), Music(I love to sing, and listen to good music live, and recorded) , Homeopathic medicine(out of need for my own child I've become very into this medicine.), staying healthy,traveling(Even by myself), getting plenty of rest(ha-ha), trying to find time to go to the gym, or take a walk.(Ugh!!) All in all I've had an interesting life, (different then I ever expected) Now I look forward to watching my kids grow up and grandkids, but not for a few years. I have plans of possibly going to school finally(its never to late)
