Laura's Story
Married classmate Dennis Moody (February 15,1973), two children (daughter, 43 years old, living in Michigan, 1 child), (s0n, 33 years old, living in Ogden).
Lived in Germany, Colorado, Alaska, and Kansas during Dennis's military career. Taught German to newly arrived soldiers for Army Education Centers in Aschaffenburg and Darmstadt, Germany. Served as Volunteer Supervisor on three military posts', treasurer for Wives' Clubs on two posts, and coordinator of the Deltana Fair Queen Pageant (Delta Junction, Alaska). 3 on Ft. Richardson, Ak and 1988 for Ft. Greely, AK. Represented 1st Infantry Division (U. S. Army) families on planning committee for Welcome Home to the Flint Hills (Manhattan, Kansas) in 1991 and awarded Volunteer of the Year award for 1987,
We reside in North Ogden (I'm descended from the Barker, Blodgett, and Clark families so it was NO or PV and nowhere else). Dennis was employed at IRS for 28 years, retiring in 12/2020. I taught school in DSD, OSD, and a college-prep charter school in SLC, retiring at the end of the school year 2021 after 20 years.
