Laura's Story
Life
Graduate from Holy Cross in 1982 with a BA in Political Science. Moved to Chicago to attend University of Chicago, graduated in 1986 with a degree in Middle Eastern Studies. Worked at a law firm during school and for a year after in Chicago. Then returned to school to get my MBA from UCLA (1987-89). Was hired by Sabre (CRS that travel agencies use) and have been with the company for 15 years. Now work at Travelocity as VP of Customer Relationships -- my group sends you all those emails! ton (a native Texan) and have one son, Matthew, who was born in 1995. Live in Coppell, Texas right outside of DFW Airport.
Workplace
I had my 15 year anniversary this year -- and I still can't believe I've stayed at the same company for that long. Thank goodness it was a big enough company (Sabre) that I could move around otherwise it would have never lasted. I have the best job in my company -- I set the overall direct marketing strategy for Travelocity and I'm in charge of developing customer retention and loyalty strategy.
