Laura's Story
A year after graduation I joined the USAF for 4 1/2 yrs where I was an airtraffic controller and later cross trained to be an interior/exterior electrician. I then fulfilled my term and returned back to the RGV. I've worked as a residential contractor for the past 14 yrs. Eleven years ago I decided it was time for a career change and returned back to college at UTPA. It has been difficult juggling a business, raising a family and going to college. t year w/ my bachelor's degree in nursing, so I will now be a practicing RN. I have 2 children and 2 stepchildren. I have been together with my first love (you see, we dated when I was 16)for 8 yrs. My family is the love of my life. I am finally doing everything I have ever wanted to do with the help of my wonderful and supportive husband. I presently live in Mission, TX. Although I have not seen or spoken to many of you, I intend to go to the next get together or reunion. Much peace & love, Laura.
