Laura's Story

Life After so many years where do you begin? Well my life has certainly had many twists and turns. I have attended college in Salt Lake City at the Salt Lake Community College, Dalhousie University (Nova Scotia) Halifax, Canada. I am still taking classes through the University of Phoenix online to achieve my Bachelors Degree in Business Management. I truly believe in continuing your education no mater the age of the individual. I have been reading books lately preparing myself for retirement for the best ways to invest money. I have a home in Surprise, Arizona. However, I rarely see it as often as I would like. I am currently working for Freeport McMoRan Bagdad Operations and living in Bagdad, Arizona. I travel and I am on the road again working. I use to own a company where we would work on broadband cable (Forward and reverse sweep). Having this opportunity...Expand for more
has taken me too many places. We have done work in Southern California, Utah, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Arizona, and Texas. I have no children. However, I raised a child from the age of 11. He is a cousin. He is now 26 and working for Freeport McMoRan Bagdad Operations and lives in Bagdad working at the mine. I have a Shar Pei his name is Dozer and this is my baby of 4 years. He goes every where with me. Let's just say the whole back of the Jeep is all his. I enjoy riding my Harley, going out in the hills with friends on ATV's, camping, hanging out with family, I love spending time with my niece and nephews and just relaxing. My favorite past time is enjoying a hot cup of coffee on the patio. The house in Bagdad has a nice location where the view overlooks a creek filled with trees, desert life, and a beautiful mesa.
