Laura's Story
I live in Vista now, have been here for about 20 years. Went to cosmetology school after high school and have been a hairdresser ever since. I got married in 94 and divorced in 2000. I have two beautiful kids. One girl, 13 and one boy 9. I miss living so close to the beach but we seem to make it there in the summer alot.
I have met sooo many people from school through my kids playing sports. It has been nice to not only reconnect with people but to have them as part of my adul...Expand for more
t life with children of our own. It seems like everytime I start a new season of sports, there is somebody on that team that went to San Dieguito the same time I did. It's amazing to hear what we've done and accomplished and how we've grown. Everyone I meet is just so happy to get together again and get to know one another all over. This is the best part of living in one area for so long.
Life here in Vista is simple but we like it like that. Isn't that the way we grew up anyway?
