Laura's Story
Hi!
I just want you all to know that I have thought about you so many times throughout my life! My dad's job with civil service took us away from Dallas in the Summer of '66--we moved to El Paso for a few months before we were transferred to Hawaii. We came to San Diego and after I graduated from high school--I went to Texas Tech for a year and dropped out after my mother suffered two heart attacks. . . that episode changed her life and mine.
After a severe car accident, where I was given less than 5% chance of survival, I went back to school and I am now a college professor. Throughout it all, I wondered about you all and how you were. I also figured that you were probably still in the Dallas area where your roots are . . . I just never really had any roots because of daddy's profession--he had ret...Expand for more
ired from the USAF before going into civil service and we were afforded the opportunity to travel to and live in MANY states and countries. Good and bad . . .
I've been married for almost 35 years to a (usually) really great man--Jim, we live in Oceanside, CA and have two grown boys--no grandkids, yet, but we have two shihtzus--and they think they are human children . . . Buster and BigBoy--precious. I'll post some photos and let you decide!
I am thrilled to have an avenue of "looking-up" some of the best friends I ever knew--and hopefully, to reconnect with you!
I had no way of finding many of you before I joined this reunion site. I hope you have had wonderful lives and are happy and healthy--I hope to hear from my dear Rosemont, Greiner, Coronado and Leilehua friends very soon! lauraclaytonmosier
