Hello to the MHS/SHS alumni! *(See new contact information at the bottom of this email!)
I'm a work at home, self employed Mom (buying and selling antiques & collectibles) and loving it! I have 3 children... Garrett, 26, Leah, 18, and Lexi who is 15 1/2.... (my baby)
I became a GRANDMOTHER in 2008! Kolby Duello was born May 25th. Garrett is such a good and proud daddy/husband (wife Becky) and Kolby such a sweet boy! (My gosh! I'm a GRANDMA!?)
My daughter Leah, 18, is now a student at Ohio State University. She is in the Arts Scholars program. Her major is computer science and engineering. She absolutely loves it up there and has made lots of friends and has been keeping very busy.
Leah is quite the singer. She made the finals in a local "Idol" competition that was recorded and put on a local t.v. station (twice). She was also the winner of the "Bravo Award", a prestigious award given to ONE student in her grade level, selected by their vocal instructor. She has been awarded #1 ratings at competition (high school) not only for her solos, but for ensembles as well. You can hear her sing on Youtube, under the username Wampasscat. The song is Disneyland.
My youngest, Lexi, is an excellent volleyball player, playing the middle/blocker position. She is on a top club team here in the Cincinnati area and is playing her 2nd year of varsity (she's now a sophomore) at her high school. She stands 6' 1" court height, and has already heard from close to 50 colleges! Her high school team won the GMC championship and took the District title. They made it all the way to the Sweet 16!

es to sing and placed in the finals at the local "Idol" competition and was on t.v. as well! She is also quite the gifted artist. ;^)
I enjoy gardening & landscaping around my home, hunting for antique treasures, and watching Lexi play volleyball. I've also spent MANY hours volunteering ...from working on my daughter's plays (sets & props, hanging posters in businesses' windows, etc.) to volunteering for "Volley for the Cure" at the high school.
My husband, Wayne, is a co-owner of a company called Rapid-Automation Design-- an engineering, software, & design company. It's a big change for the both of us, but exciting as well and so far the business has been good, having been blessed with many early successes.

(For the old classmates in Salisbury... I moved away after 4th grade. We lived behind the grade school back then on Poplar St. (The ranch house with the 1/2 circle drive) Debbie Chapman was a neighbor of mine and so was Billy-Joe Helmich.(sp?) I remember some of your names... and faces... My memories of Salisbury are fond and idyllic! I still miss it after all these years! If anyone would like to email me some pics of the town, I would be ever so grateful! I have the fondest of memories there...from riding my banana seat bicycle in the 4th of July parade, to saving my allowance to buy the little 10c plastic animals at the 5 & 10 store. Halloween was always special and so was drinking a chocolate coke at the Rexall on the corner.... maybe some of you remember my brothers, Matt & Mark Ford? Matt is in Dexter Missouri, engaged to Sharon Marquis, and my brother Mark passed away in 1975.
