Laura's Story
Life
After high school, I tried dental hygiene school and decided that I just didn't enjoy that field at all. I then decided to major in special education at FSU. I earned my BS and MS simultaneously in '85. My husband and I got married in 1986. We have two great kids, Keith (17) and Emilee (13). September 11th affected us deeply ... as it did everyone. ible day ... and we decided that he needed to find a job for which he didn't have to travel so frequently. He found a job here in Tallahassee, so we relocated to our old college stomping grounds. I am teaching once again, in the school where I interned! It's great being up here again. We have been very fortunate over the years ... we are extremely happy and healthy. I don't think one can ask for much else.
