Laura's Story
Life
I graduated from NSTCC in May 1994 with an A.S. and an A.A.S in Chemical Technology. I worked in retail until finally landing a job at Eastman Chemical in Feb. 1995 as a lab technician. I worked there until March 2004, when I decided to leave to spend time at home taking care of my family. I also opened my own consignment store. I married Willard McNew at 12am Jan. 1, 1998. He has two daughters, Jasmine-17 and Diamond-15, that have lived with us since Aug. 2000. He is a graduate of Rye Cove High School, where he was very active in football, and led the state of Virginia in yards rushing in 1984.
We have one dog, a chinese shar-pei (a wrinkle dog), and of course his name is Wrinkles. He is 6 yrs. old.
