Laurel's Story

After 50 years of living in the Bay Area, I moved to the Sierra Foothills outside Fresno. I work at Fresno City College as a librarian and my husband, Tom, is going to school at Fresno State reinventing himself. While I miss many things about the Bay Area, I don't miss the traffic and we love where...Expand for more
we live now. After 30 years, I'm finally living without children and it feels very good! It's lovely when they visit, but great when they leave. Still writing and while the second project didn't go anywhere, I'm hoping that the third project (in its third draft now) will. Hope springs eternal!
