Lauren's Story
Life
I graduated in may 2000 from Bucknell University with a double major in Animal Behavior and Environmental Studies. I finished my MA in environmental Leadership at Naropa University in Boulder, CO in Dec 2005. I'm a wilderness guide for teenagers in the summer and a ski instructor in the winter.
Workplace
I am currently working as a Seasonal Naturalist with Jefferson County Open Sp...Expand for more
ace (south of Boulder, west of Denver, Colorado). Last winter I worked as a ski instructor at Eldora Mountain Resort near Boulder. I've spent 3 summers in Skagway Alaska (2000, 2002, and 2004) working mainly as a naturalist and hiking and rafting guide with Skagway Float Tours. Other work I have done includes summer camps, wilderness therapy, and other seasonal environmental education work.
