Okay...so in the 60s I dropped out...and then when I turned 60 I dropped out again. I'm living in a little beach town out in the middle of nowhere in Brazil. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who knows me...I've been nuts for this country for decades. How do I spend my days? I wake up at 5:30 and put bananas and papayas out for the birds, change their water, take my old dog "Sam" for a walk on the beach, buy some fresh bread and 2 liters of milk from contented cows, boil the milk for 20 minutes, and have my morning coffee. Then maybe I'll run some errands and/or take a good hike along the beach. I usually "hydrate" after a long beach walk with a "caipirinha"...Brazilian firewater, fresh squeezed limes, sugar and ice. Then it's home for internet connectivity, lunch and a nap during the heat of the day. More strong coffee and I'm ready to walk the dog and visit neighbors in the late afternoon.
