Lauren Cox:  

I married in August of 1986 to Ken Cox. He is from Auburn, AL. We have two girls who are proficient both academically and musically. I transfered to Athens, AL from Memphis with Federal Express in 1983. I left the company in August of 1991 to raise my girls and never looked back. I volunteered in the schools until they graduated. I have never regretted not having a career. My family came first and we did just fine on one income. Now that the girls are leaving for school soon, my husband and I plan to hit the road more often in the camper. We have been avid campers for several years. Tent camping was great, but the first 5th wheel has spoiled me and I doubt I will ever go back to a tent again. I am very involved in church. I sing in the choir, play trumpet for special occasions, and work in childrens choir. What would most surprise everyone who knew me in HS is that I have mellowed out. I don't party like I once did.
