Lauri's Story
I live in Annapolis, MD with my puppy, Diego.
After college I moved to No VA about 10 miles outside of Washington, DC. Lived in Alexandria, VA for a while and then landed in Falls Church, VA.
During the 17 years I lived there I had a few different types of jobs: real estate market research, sports marketing, a short-term job with the government and then planted myself with a software company where I was the corporate trainer and traveled the US for a few years. Experience from that job opened up many doors for the future.
Now I have my own business as a software trainer and website sales/designer....Expand for more
Being in business for yourself in challenging the but trade-off is worth it.
While in No VA for all of those year I had a love for dancing and found partner dancing. It became my lifestyle, not just a hobby. I spent time competing in Swing, Latin and Country dancing; then moved on to teaching.
After moving to Annapolis in 2003 I did not much find partner dancing here so I created my own dance / fitness world. Started a program called Latin Dance aerobics and teach the class at both fitness clubs and senior centers.
It is in the works to do a few fitness videos. Watch for me on the internet.
