Lauriann's Story
Life
Now that I am looking back at it, I guess I am a totally different person now than I was in high school. For me high school was awkward. I do not think I handled it well-actually I know I did not handle it at all. I always said as soon as I graduated I would be gone and never look back. I did the first, but ever since my divorce four years ago, I have been trying to find my way back. (I am single). Now, where to begin... I have raised three beautiful, successful kids. Two girls and a boy. I think it is pretty darn neat that you raise these kids and of course you love them, they are yours, but when they are grown you can look at them and say that not only do you love them, but you also like them as human beings. My kids are my best friends, we do everything together and have all their lives. We have been on a rodeo circuit for 15 years together. That is right, I live on 5 1/2 acres with my horses, dogs and cats. I am currently into doing a little training. Since my son was on the weight lifting team in high school, I also work out regular and run several times a week. I am in better physcial condition now than I was ...Expand for more
in high school-still the same size too! Everyone says I look pretty much the same as I did in high school so I guess you would reconize me. I also sing in a country band. We have played the Alabama State Fair Grounds for many years and did City Stages and River Fest. Lately I have been jamming with a Jazz band for something new. I graduated from two different colleges. One being "The University of Hard Knocks"-I graduated there with the highest honors. The other being Morurary School. That is right, I am a mortician, you know, embalmer/funeral director? I am Nationally Licensed. So, now I am the town mortician, undertaker. I love my job, I love my position in this town. My parents say "I turned out good", so against all odds, I reckon I did. I love to help folks out. I volenteer for an organization that helps homeless women and children, that is my passion. Life has been a little on the rocky side, rough at times but I think the hard times help to build character and now here we are past all of that and ready to really start living! I would love to hear from any of you to see what you are up to! Email me any time!
