Well I thought I'd update my profile to let everyone know what's up in my life. I'm currently writing a book called "Life According to Laurie" It encompasses my pursuit to find meaning and purpose in my life, and to find a higher power to sustain me in my daily life. Call it God, Love, Light, The Universe, Buddah, whatever you want. It all comes down to the necessity to have a higher power of love to draw on. It includes the information I put in the seminar series information I put here. I had a serious problem with drugs and alcohol, and got clean and sober Oct. 2007. For anyone still suffering, I highly recommend that you look into a clean life. It has made a huge difference in my life! Most of us were raised during a time when drugs and alcohol were the norm. My high school days were mostly a daze. I have to say I had a lot of fun, but carried it on into adulthood with disasterous results. It took me over, and ruined many parts of my life. At 50 I found a new path that led me to happiness. I needed help and found it. Now I look back at a lot of wasted time, and am now pursuing a lot of my goals with joy and happiness.
