Laurie's Story
Life
Since graduating Boston University in 1977, I have been living in Boston and working in publications- first as a graphic designer, art director and now a production manager- for the same company- Symphony Publishing (formerly Larkin Publications). I am an active volunteer with Doberman Rescue Unlimited, a non-profit organization that places more than 300 unwanted Dobermans in loving homes. ed to preserving and renovating historic structures. I am also the Clerk on my condominium Association Board of Governors. My mom died in 1989 of lung cancer, so my dad moved out of Fishkill into our summer house in the Connecticut Berkshires. He lives 2 hrs from me and is now in assisted living. My brother Richard lives in Maryland and my brother Steven lives in Charlotte, NC and has 2 children- Andrew age 19 and Elisabeth age 12. This year he celebrates his 20th wedding anniversary.
