Laurie's Story
1983 seems like such a lonnnggg time ago! Great seeing so many of you on here. Quick recap - I moved from KC in 1985 to Tucson and attended community college & Univ of AZ, met & married my (former) husband there & moved to Northern AZ, Flagstaff, for about 9 years. We then moved to San Diego, love that city but really expensive so a couple years following my divorce moved to Austin, TX to be nearer to my dad & have a fresh start ...Expand for more
in many ways. That was close to 8 years ago and as I look back, am grateful to be here, have come a long way on this journey & met some incredible friends & reconnected with my family and have opened my heart up again with a new love. I think I was meant to be a Texan! ;) Have been in the TX Hill Country for the last 3.5 years, Fredericksburg, a charming smaller town & working in the tourism sales industry which is big for us.
