Laurie's Story
Hi, I am still living in Willows. I have been married to Mike Murray for 23 years, have two children, Logan and Ashley that both graduated from WHS. I have a stepdaughter and 2 step-grandchildren. Now that we are empty nesters, we have a beautiful 2007 velocity yellow Corvette that we enjoy driving to just about anywhere we feel like. can. We are very community minded, Mike served on the Willows City Council for 20 years and is now the chairman on the Glenn County Board of Supervisors. I am chairperson of the We Believe in Willows committee. Our purpose is to promote our community and downtown merchants and keep AMH Theater going. Our downtown merchants are struggling to keep going. I am still working, hopefully, retirement is within a few years, as soon as Ashley gets her masters degree.
