Laurie's Story
Life-
Life is like a comedy show, sometimes it's funny and sometimes it's not. However, at the end of each day when the children are a sleep and the dogs are done being loved on, I thank God for giving me another day.
School-
I attended four schools through out my time in grade school. I have them all listed. I will have to say that one school will always be my favorite. That school is North Lynn Middle School.
College-
YIKES...college! I attended Cypress Jr. College in Cypress, California for three years. I did have a very "unique" roommate. Her name was Jolene Cox. We both started school in 1990 and...Expand for more
completed the Flight Attendant Program there. I continued my studies to get my Associates Degree. Interviewed with United Airlines, but wasn't ready to leave my parents at the time.
Workplace-
I worked a few places...one that I will always remember and that was Sweets and Surf off Whittier Blvd.
I have been a yogurt lady, a waitress, a front desk hotel clerk, weight loss receptionist, chili demo chick, foodservice sales associate, preschool teacher, pimped lotion at BBW and currently flinging flip flops at the AEO.
Military
I personally never served in the military, but know many that have and are Marines.
