Life To contact me, I have a yah-hoo email account and my user name is hrhlaurie. I graduated U. of Maryland with BS in Management Info. Systems. I lived in the UK for 4 years and in CA, TX and now CO. I worked as a Business Analyst then migrated into emergency preparedness and response field. As a Project Manager for Kaiser, MCI, Current Checks, Wells Fargo and, now, the McGraw-Hill Companies I've focused on disaster planning for buildings, systems, employees and customers. I'm currently a Sr. Manager of Crisis Management writing business continuity, emergency response and disaster recovery plans. I'm also responsible for Compliance and data security, editing contracts and assisting with customer and vendor negotiations. I travel all over the U.S., Asia and Europe working with my internal customers. I work from home but also spend time each month in one or more of our offices. On the personal side, I was married and had 3 children, (Melanie - 25, Kristin - 22 and Nicholas - 20). I married again and we celebrated our 7th anniversary Sept 2008.
