Laurie's Story

I still love to travel - too many places to go and not enough time. Machu Picchu was definitely a highlight as were the Tombs at Luxor, Pyramids in Giza, Roman Forum, Red Square, Great Wall of China, Great Barrier Reef, Tower of London, Petra, and swimming with Humpback Whales in Tahiti. All in 2023 went off as planned: Holiday Caribbean Cruise with fantastic New Year's Eve fireworks in Curacao; Puerto Rico to the Amazon River with a stop on Devil's Island and Rio de Janeiro; Mediterranean cruise from Athens to Barcelona with stops at Ephesus, Santorin...Expand for more
i, Capri, Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica, and Mallorca plus a couple days in Barcelona and Madrid; Saw the Northern Lights on the North Cape of Norway; Back to the Caribbean in Late December with my sister Julie. Plans for 2024 are skiing at Lake Tahoe, River cruise from Bucharest to Budapest, with a visit to Transylvania before and Prague afterwards, and a return trip to Tahiti. Then comes the Reunion in October - I'm really looking forward to attending since I missed our 40th! End of 2024 into 2025 - South Africa! Another place I've really wanted to visit!

End of day, transmission in park. Yea!!!
The Queen is not happy. Day 3 after "the fix", couple more days and she can loose the cone of shame! Her gf "Tilly" saw her today and said " woof.. woofwoof". Translated to " girlfriend what the hell is that around yur nogg
Ladies and Gentleman, tis the season, let the burning of the dogs begin! I know... pickles??? I was feeling a little fanciful!!!
So it's National Dog Day, or as it's known around here, National Pain in the Tukus Day......But how can i be mad at her now, she's chewing my shoe....
Another tough day; going for 2 walks, ate breakfast and dinner, chewed up 1 lovely roll of toilet paper, played ball in the house, took 5 naps... wheew, I'm simply bushed!!!
As summer wanes, a nice grilled dog with some fantastic sweet white corn! PS - David L., it ain't no muffeletta but it'll do....
National Dog Day means Mom & Dad finally got home, bought me a puffin and in my bed cutt'n some zzzz's!
