Laurie's Story
Life
I am married to a great guy named Jim Belinsky. We have been married since 1988. I have a son named Tyler and a daughter named Raegan. I live in Coventry - basically still in Akron. I still get together with Sheila whenever possible.
School
School to me was a fun place to hang with my friends. I loved going to school just to see everyone. Most of my memories of Jr. High and High school were spent with Sheila Harvey (Flohr) and Dave McElhiney. I loved being in the marching band and going to band camp and all. I even talked Sheila into being a flag girl for one year. I had a lot of fun and had a lot of fun people around me. Partying with Sheila, Jill and Sue, and others - I had a good time. I remember Fred Nicely trying to teach me how to drink and then how to sober up by orange juice...Expand for more
and running the next day - not my cup of tea. But what a good friend Fred was to me. He even tried to teach me how to play the drums in concert band since we had to play an instrument. Boy was I bad. My memories are very happy of my high school years and each reunion that we have every five years allows me to see some of the people that I had so much fun with is really great. I hope we have reunions until we are all very old and gray. Thanks to all my classmates for making my high school years so great.
Workplace
I work at a Patent Law Firm in Cuyahoga Falls - by the clock tower and the water area by Broad and Front Street. I have been working there since 1997. I handle the foreign filing of patents in the US from other countries and in other countries. I enjoy my work most of the time.
