Laurie's Story
Life
married with 2 kids. Justin 14 and Elijah 10. Met my husband Joe
while at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. We married a year after we graduated and moved to his beautiful home state of West Virginia.
College
Graduated 1990 form The Art Insitute of Pittsburgh with a degree in Visual Communication.
Workplace
When I graduated from the Art Institute I worked for Reece Brothers in downtown Pittsburgh as a graphic designer. When we moved to West Virginia (small town) the art field was not so...Expand for more
easy. I stayed home for a couple of years with my boys and did free-lance work.
I now work part-time for Barnes and Noble College Bookstores for WVU University. I also work as a custome framer and assisst an incredible photographer. A year ago I worked with another artist painting costumes for a college production of CATS. I also worked as a make-up artist for the production. Just this past March I was asked back to costume our recent production of CHICAGO. I love working with the broadway shows.
