Laurie's Story
Married 8-27-88.
Had a baby girl on 6-25-89.
Almost killed in a car accident on
8-17-89. The last recorded speed of the car that hit us was 70mph thru Willow Glen. Thankfully, I don't remember much about the accident, except for my injuries: a closed-head injury (my hair was streaked red with blood) multiple fractu...Expand for more
red ribs, a punctured lung, a bear-clawed kidney, a fractured pelvis, a lacerated liver, my spleen was removed due to it being ruptured, numerous scars & a 20% chance of surviving that night.
Released from the hospital on 10-13-89 Divorced on 6-23-90.
Married again on 6-7-92.
Had a baby boy on 5-11-93.
LIFE GOES ON.
