Life Hi all; I am still living in Brownsville, and have been married for 30 great and fun years. My husband; Reynaldo Long, and I have a 28 yr. old son who is back living in Brownsville, after living in Colorado,Pennsylvania and Houston. He was accepted into the Fire Dept. and EMT training program here,and began Oct. 18,2006. He graduated from the academy in May of 07 and went back 2 months later to get his state certified paramedic certificate. He also wants to take the underwater rescue and Hazmat courses. He has always loved action, and sees alot on it on duty in the ambulance &/or firetruck. He has brought my husband and I such joy and laughter, is a big clown just like his Dad. My husband was a shrimper for almost 25 years, running the family's company trawler. He had a heart attack and went under a quadruple bypass a little over 5 years ago. He now has a job on land, due to more complications and being a insulin dependent diabetic, he so does miss the sea. What he misses more is the loud music and mess of a teenager. He and his son are very close, and our son has made us both proud. If they are not playing golf every weekend, they are playing pool with thier league.
