Lavonne's Story
Went to school in California from first grade through sophomore year at Riverdale. West to Burrell Elementary for first grade, then to Riverdale through second and third, fourth through sixth grade at Bender then back to Riverdale through seventh through 10th.
Left California when my parents moved to Kansas and graduated high school here. Have lived in Wichita since 1963 and love it. It is a bigger city that is like a small town as I can go across town and run into people I know.
Wonderful place to raise kids and cost of loving is decent.

Had so many wonderful years there and hope to go back before too long to see if Riverdale has changed that much.
Most of my family have returned to the Midwest. Have family in Oregon I go to see every year, but it has been a long time since I was in California.
I am married with one daughter and one step-daughter. My daughter is getting married this summer - she's 26 - so that is an experience I am enjoyed right now -- planning a wedding.
