Lawana's Story

Schoolmates might remember me because I worked in the high school office for one period each day, taking attendance, answering phones, delivering messages to classrooms, etc., etc. Also I was in the A Capella choir '61-'62 and '62-'63 (soprano). And I took drafting for 2 years, which at that time, was not a "normal" female-type course. Basically a loner. Took a lot of college-prep courses but didn't get to go, so I went back as a post-grad to take some more useful classes like bookkeeping, business math, etc. Did not marry my high-school sweetheart, but did marry Nor...Expand for more
man Gray in 1966. We'll be married 52 years in April of 2018. Have 1 daughter, and 2 grandchildren. Worked a few times in my life, drawing road plans for the US forestry service, several temp jobs, as a "Parts Order Coordinator" (can we say data entry) for Kubota Tractor Corporation, but spent most of my time as a "Domestic Engineer". (sounds so much more impressive than "housewife") Created, edited and published 3 lists based at Yahoo, most notably Cascade Express and also did some writing under the name of LL Gray. Other than that, just another normal life. :) .
