Lawrence's Story
After I left High school I worked for my Dad puming gas at his service station. In the fall of 75 I took a job at the Capitol Center unloading trucks and eventually moved to a position working on food service equipment. After three years of this I decided to return to school and advance my skills in the Air Condtioning trade. Upon graduation I applied for and received a Position working for the Architect of The Capitol at the Library of Congress! This was in December of 79. I still hold this job but am now in a Supervisory position. In the summer of 81 after returning from a trip to Florida, I met the girl of my dreams! Well that is what I thought anyway, we were married for 22 years and raised two beautiful daughters. I became single in the spring of 2003 ...Expand for more
and remain single at this time. Over the years I have many adventures with family and friends. I have been skydiving, white water rafting, camping (once a year with the family), boating, fishing, hiking, sking, or just about anything outdoors. I try to take a couple trips a year and like to go to different places. Last years trips were to the Keys and a Cruise of the western Carribean.
My first grandaughter was born in July of 08 and I am looking forward to more in the future.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends. I like to dance and have taken a number of lessons. I like the country line dances and have learned many. I also like the two step. I am a couple years away from retirement and am looking forward to the next phase of my life!!
