Katherine's Story
Life
After Seton, I went to the Univesity of MD, then received my B.A. in English Literature from George Washington University. I attended Johns Hopkins' continuing eduacation master's in business program while I was working. I married my college boyfriend right after graduation but that didn't work out and we divorced a few years later.
I went to work in publishing in the Washington, DC area. I worked for 3 different publishers, moving from editorial assistant to managing ...Expand for more
editor. I left the office world in 1997 to be with my kids, Megan, now (2003) 10, and Colin, now 7. I volunteer at school, am a Girl Scout leader, and am involved with my church.
I met my husband in 1988. My brother was a client of his. We married in 1989. Alan now owns a heating, air conditioning, and plumbing firm in Northern VA. We live in Harpers Ferry, WV--nice and peaceful (I have deer in my yard every night!) but close to everything (like the 'burbs and the cities).
