Leah's Story
I graduated from SWT in the spring of 1989 and moved to Dallas to start my career in retail management with The Limited. Was in Dallas for one year and then got transferred to San Antonio. Worked for The Limited until Spring 1995. JR came back into my life in 1993 and we got married in 1994. I know 10 years after we left NCHS we hooked back up and got married! What a long and winding road we travel as we grow up. Anyway, we had our first child, Mackenzie, on Christmas Day 1995. een a manager for The Olive Garden restaurants in San Antonio and between both of us working odd/late hours, something had to give. Once we settled in Fredericksburg, JR started his own company, Sunnyside Lawn and Landscaping, and I started working for a professional recruiting company, Cameron-Brooks, that specialized in finding junior military officers new careers after they leave the service. Our son, Harrison, was born in 2000 and we have been having a blast watching the kids grow up. Both kids are active in sports - soccer, baseball/softball, volleyball and 4H. We spend most of the Spring traveling to livestock shows.
