Leah's Story
Still living in Brevard County after all these years, I've lived in Merritt Island since 1985. I was married for 22 years and have been divorced since 2002.
I have two great kids my daughter, Samantha graduated from Merritt Island High School and lives in Rockledge. She has a three handsome young boys that give me great joy. My son, Billy, also graduated from Merritt Island High School and UCF. I couldn't have asked for better kids, although those teenage years were challenging at times. I am sure my Mother was watching from heaven with a grin on her face, saying "this is God's way of getting even for everything I put them through". Although overall I don't believe I deserved as much as I got back!

I love to travel and I enjoy the water, boating, fishing, and all that comes with it. A typical weekend might be to meet friends for dinner and/or drinks on Friday night (Grills Tiki Bar is a usual haunt) in Port Canaveral, maybe some dancing, and then end the evening a little closer to home. Saturday and Sunday I try to spend some time on the water, take the boat and jet ski's to an Island for afternoon sun and picnic lunch, just trying to find time to relax and enjoy this beautiful place we call home.
