Both my parents are gone. My first fiancee was killed in a car accident. I have met many wonderful people and developed many close friendships. Many of them became my mentors. I volunteered for serveral organization for people w/disabilities. And in doing so, I was hired as a lobbyiest at our State Capitol for the rights...Expand for more
of all the disabled. It was excitiing and exhausting. I loved every minute. I also worked for PARENT ADVOCACY for EDUCATIONAL RIGHTS for children with disabilities. I was married, but now divorced. In 2005, my book of poetry was published. It's title: YOU WALK PRETTY, pub. by Publish America. It's my life's story in poetry. I now reside in an Assisted Living Facility. My philosophy is: As long as I Do as much as I can for myself and others, make my own decisions and have a deep abidng faith in God, I'm content.
