After attending Seattle Community College and Washington State University, I stayed in Seattle and worked in sales at a manufacturing plant and taught part time at some local community colleges.

ined the Forest Service and moved to McCall, ID, later transferring to my present location in the Four Corners area. Ultimately I resigned from the feds and hung out my shingle as a consulting archaeologist.
