Lee's Story

Life Hi everyone, what a great website. I came to Connecticut back in 1974 to find a teaching job. Landed in Redding, CT. Stayed 26 years. Met my husband Bill about that time. We were married in 1984. I have 4 stepchildren which I have given a lengthy bio on. I just retired from teaching a total of 31 years as I taught for 5 years in Bloomfield, CT as well. Loving retirement. Bill and I built our dream home in the country- in Litchfield, CT -we built a saltbox- situated on 12 private acres. We love it and I have found a new love in gardening- except for those p...Expand for more
esky japanese beetles. My husband just sold his mfg business to our son Rob- but Bill is not the retiring type so continues to work. I still have family in Swampscott. My brother Dick Nordin and wife Jan live on Blodgett Ave. Jan still teaches in the Swampscott schools. My mother, Marg Nordin just passed away last Oct. at the age of almost 92. A wonderful lady- Miss her every day. Bill and I like to travel- we just returned from a cruise. Great vaca. Try it if you have not done it. We are planning to go to Australia in the winter. Hope to hear from some of you.
