Life Was a 76' grad, went to B.C.I.T. broadcasting right out of high school then radio in the interior (78-83), Castlegar, Salmon Arm, Vernon, Kamloops,(town to town, up and down the dial)worked in Manitoba(Brandon) from 83-86,doing Brandon Wheatkings play by play. ome since then, with a long stint at CKNW and Team 1040, Married in 97, have an 11 year old daughter. Playing Senior baseball with the Burnaby Buzzards, and beer league hockey at Great Pacific Forum.. Guess we're all turning 5-0h soon or have already. Hope everybody's doing well. Lee

This tragic tale's become too frequent, NHL enforcers who pass away at relatively young ages. R.I.P Chris Simon....who was only 52. Simon had over 18 hundred penalty minutes, but he also had a 29 goal season with Washington
George Garrett, dedicated, honest, iconic CKNW reporter, passes away at age 89. Proud to have known and worked with such a fine man. R.I.P George.
