Autumn, 2016
Having been a fairly successful "Fugitive from Responsibly" for most of my life, I now am attempting to reinvent myself as a senior citizen ski-bum. Luck has allowed me to find an affordable house on the north bank of the Roaring Fork River just a 12 minute walk to the Aspen Mountain Gondola. The big question now is; when is it going to start snowing here in Colorado? The preseason conditioning of hiking up the slopes has acclimated me and my lovely bride Suzi. The "SkiCo" has offered us both part-time jobs that include lift privileges. If it doesn't cool down and start snowing soon I afraid we'll just have to travel down to Moab, Utah and get in a last minute raft trip and some mountain biking.
